Not sure if this has been posted yet, but I was in the Seattle Bunker today, and they had "Army Bundles". These were battleforces/battalions combined with 2-3 other boxes, with a DISCOUNT. Granted, it was usually 25-30 dollars, but still, these were not bad, usually putting the combined price under 200 USD(pre-tax). As far as I can remember, ther was an Eldar, Tau, SM, BA, Chaos Marines, IG, Daemons, VC, Dark Elves, WoC, Beastmen, O&G and Lizardmen. These are NOT megaforces, but a holiday discount for purchasing certain items together.

Anyway, has anyone else seen these around the GW stores?

Maybe it was just a store special, my flgs dosnt have anything like that.

Multiple boxes. For instance, the WoC one was a battalion, a giant and a box of O&G River Trolls.

Theres skaven and high elf ones too on the online UK site

My store has some similar things, most notably I think was AOBR+Orks and SM Battleforce for around $200.

Strange as it was a GW store. GW stores aren't known for doing deals of any kind.

It is only the Seattle bunker that is doing this. The manager was somehow able to put together a limited supply of these "deals". He did it mainly for people interested in the army boxes but who didn't play any of the four armies GW picked.

They're not boxed armies. They're battleforces/battalions bundled with extra boxes. And as said above, only at the Seattle battle bunker put together by the manager.

It isn't just the Seattle Bunker, it was several of the Seattle stores.

GW doesn't do deals in the traditional sense of retail, they do deals through boxed product like Battle Forces/Battalions/Mega forces. What the stores are doing is putting 200 dollar hobby bundles together for all the armies highlighting the savings that you receive in the Battle Forces/Battalions.Mega forces. They also took the time to compile the point value of said bundle to show experienced/new gamers the value of what they were buying. I bought two different bundles because it made it easy to start an army. I'm glad they took the time to put these together as it made my Christmas shopping way easier.

My store in Bristol is doing this and always has done.

They have 'space marine starter kit' which has the AoBR, battleforce, SM:codex and a finecast libby for less than retail price...

If the other stores in the Seattle area are doing anything, it's likely each store manager doing it on his/her own. It isn't a nationwide/North America thing so other stores likely won't be doing this deal.

If you're in the Seattle area and you want to get an army deal for something other than the "official" four put out by GW, stop in at the Bunker and see what they have.

Again it's several of the managers in the Seattle area who got together to do this and it has been picked up up by several of the stores outside the area. Feel free to visit Tacoma, Supermall, Kent station, Carkeek, Marysville, Seattle Bunker, LA Bunker, Scottsdale AZ, and a few others outside that. You could walk into any Games Workshop have them look the bundles up on the Seattle Bunkers Facebook and they could take care of you.
