This may seem like a noob question but do Grey Hunters get an extra attack in combat? Reason I ask is that their war gear lists bolt pistol, chainsword and a bolter. I just wanted this cleared up.

Thanks for any light you can shed on this.

I don't have the codex on hand, but if it lists a close combat weapon AND a pistol in their wargear, than unless they trade one of those out they will get the extra attack.

Note though that you need to have both. Just having a pistol or just having a close combat weapon will not grant an extra attack.

Yes, they have 2 single handed CCW so gaina bonus attack in close combat, as given on p42.

Yep, agree with both the above. Since in the codex they are listed as having Bolter, BP and CCW they can get bonus attacks from two weapons. (Not positive but is this one of those situations you would in theory have to inform your opponent as to which weapons you are using)?

Also note that Njal Stormcaller gets a bonus attack for the same reason, even if he's in Terminator armor.

And even more importantly, they keep that extra attack when they buy a special weapon (i.e. Meltagun, Flamer) since those replace their bolter.
