Ok basically in March, Sega is going to release a standalone Shogun 2 game called Fall of the Samurai situated roughly 400 years after the Sengoku period where the future of Japan is uncertain as old time Warlords clash with the Foreign influenced Emperor

Through the looking glass

It looks interesting, but it's one of those games/movies about a setting I like dying out, which I don't like. Sort like the Pirates of the Caribbean movies. The later ones going into how pirates are all but becoming extinct. I watch pirate movies to see pirates, not to see the end of pirates.

This actually looks pretty damn good. One thing I really liked about Shogun 2 was the apt co-op campaign, and now the introduction of port battle and railway networks really adds something to it for me. Looks like this is making the list of games I need to buy.
