zeshin is right in that the shooting is simultaneous, however, the Target Lock allows the 'Ui to shoot, say a Dreadnought, while his fellow
FWs, at the same time, shoot their pulse rifles at some
SM scouts. Resolve the Scout hits and wounds and the
ML marker is put on the dread (if successful).
After the scouts' wounds and saves are resolved, then the tau player is free to use the
ML on the dread for a Seeker, cover-removal, etc.
Pathfinders. Let's say you've included a Target Lock on the 'Ui there (it's silly, don't, but you could!). The 'Ui
MLs a wounded Daemon Prince and the other
PFs put
MLs on a group of KhorneBerzerkers. No wounds are dealt so the
PFs' shooting is over and now the tau player is free to have a Seeker nail the
DP. Or have some FireKnives hose down the KorneBs.
