Ok, not quite exactly a pure footslogger's list I will be marching/running up to half board and then shooting from there, feel free to critique!

HQ: Necron Overloard w warscythe 100

Royal Court (in ark): 3 Crypteks (Eldritch staff), 1 solar pulse 125

Elite: 5 Triach Preatorians (for close combat support) 200

Troops: 16 Necron warriors, 1 Cyptek (voltiac staff & lightning field) 243

Troops: 5 Necon warriors 65

Troops: 5 Necron warriors 65

Troops: 5 Necron warriors, 1 Cryptek (termor staff) 95
(objective camper).

Fast attack: 3 heavy destroyers 180

Fast attack: 3 heavy destroyers 180

Transport: 1 Ghost Ark 115

Heavy Support: 1 Monolith 200

Heavy Support: 2 Annihilation Barges 180

Total: 1748

The idea is that I use my solar flare during my opponent's turn to get enough time for my whole army to footslog up to half board. Then I will just stay there and keep shooting. My long range heavy destroyers also then get 1 additional turn of shooting with the use of the flare. The whole army, besides the long range destroyers who can jump around 12" and still shoot 36" will stay together.

My overlord goes with the big squad of Necron warriors. Its going to be difficult to kill off 16 necron warriors in just one turn. The ghost ark will be right behind to help to revive warrios. The 3 crpteks in ghost ark are protected by its av 13 shielding and turns the ghost ark into a big tri gun tank. Monolith and the other 2 squads will be close by to help support. One squad with the cryptek with tremor staff with stay 36" behind in cover (near an objective if we have), and just use the termor staff to slow down units coming towards my battle line. The Preatorians will hide behind the massive bulk of my monolith all the time. The 2 barges will also be right behind the warriors, to help give heavy fire support.

If anything dangerous in close combat tries to get close to my battle line (the midfield). I hit it with tremor staff (1st), then the Monolith will port the preatorians to the front facing, afterwhich they get to jump forward, shoot and then charge (18" range) that close combat unit that is getting too close. Rest of the time, in its position behind the monolith, the Pretorians can also help to protect against potential deep strikers behind enemy lines. If the scenario or deployment requires it, I can even deep strike them in deep into enemy lines, and then later port them out with the monolith if things get too hot for them.

If the big necron warrior squad gets charegd, he will be hit first by the lightning field, then my Necron Lord with scythe will hope to even up the wounds abit so that at least the sqaud doesn't get swept, and as long as I can hang in there, preatorians can jump in to help once able.

Thanks in advance!

This list is all over the goddamn place.

What does the overlord do? Seems like a waste of points. At least put him in a CCB so he can do something.

5-strong warrior units are only good if they're in an Ark. otherwise they're going to die all at once and lose RP. I'd recommend 10-15 as the sweetspot for slogging units, and 20 is acceptable if you can stick a gaze of flame in there or have some CC-screening units.

Drop the Heavy Destroyers and the terribad Praetorians.

Well, I could combine the two 5 man squads together, but I wanted them as "bait" so that they won't hit my big squad instead. And 4 troop sqauds make objective games easier. But yeah, I could combine it together into a 10 man squad. But then I will only hve 3 squads. They were also meant to "protect" the flanks of the big 16 man sqaud which has my Necron lord.

Need the heavy D for more Anti-armor, and the preatorians to handle close combat troops. Its a foot slogger's list, but I am also trying to make it relatively balanced as well. I don't want to have a situation where if just one good close combat unit gets into my lines, it will roll up my whole army.

I considered catacomb command barge as well before, but the rest of my army is just going to march to midfield and stop there, so the CCB will be all by itself wizzing about in the enemy lines, doesn't bode well for it surviving the fight.

I am also wondering, in this situation, where I use my preatorians for countercharging, or pre-empting any close combat unit threathening my lines, then which weapon loadout should I use for them? The staff of covanant or the pistol and sword?

Hmm, still thinking of whether 2 squads of 5 on their own is ok...
