In short: not good. Forgive me if everyone already knew this, but I'm new to the hobby, and my experience with resin/Finecast is limited.

Besides the obvious problems associated with resin/Finecast (i.e. poor molds and lack of quality assurance), the torsos and heads are noticeably smaller in scale than the pieces from the plastic Wolf Guard and regular squad boxed sets. So when I put a Forge World torso on Games Workshop termie legs and compare it to an all plastic Wolf Guard model, it looks odd.

Is this pretty much consistent with what others have experienced? So it's safe to assume I should never buy resin/Finecast/Forge World products ever? It's a shame, because they are beautiful models in their own right.

On moon miranda.

IIRC they're an older kit, but they shouldn't be too bad, the couple I've seen in person didn't seem like there was anything off about the size.

As for QA, it varies, but it's usually not too bad, if it is just give FW a call or send them an email with your order# in the subject line and they'll replace it.

Most FW stuff is awesome, but some of the older kits aren't the friendliest. Be glad you didn't have to put together a Hydra Flak Tank.

IRON WITHIN, IRON WITHOUT.

New Heavy Gear Log! Also...Grey Knights!
The correct pronunciation is Imperial Guard and Stormtroopers, "Astra Militarum" and "Tempestus Scions" are something you'll find at Hogwarts.
