How do you plan on capturing objectives in an objective based game?

Using the Wipeout! rule (If no enemy models remain on the board, you automatically win) I can still win in objective based games (difficult, but makes for a fun list!)

Only suggestion I would make is to maybe take a libby instead of a reclusiarch so that you can get a cover save up on the DC squad itself if needed.

Cool, your list looks pretty fun! Inwould listen to the libby advice but just remember death company armies aren't the most competitive from what I've heard. Have fun though!

It's hard... reroll to hits and to wounds when I charge or get a cover save... I think that, in all honesty, a Reclusiarch will benefit my playing style more than a Librarian.

You can give the DC Preferred enemy in the assault phase and cover saves in your enemies shooting phase. If you end combat. It is merely a suggestion to take with a grain of salt.

But I can only give one of them per turn, unless I dispose of 50pts to let him use 2 and 25 to keep up to pace with them on top of the libby. Plus, I just modeled a JP Chapy so I would go with the Reclusiarch.

Are "Infernus Pistols" effectively "Melta Pistols"? I don't have my BA codex handy, and it's been awhile since I've played against BA. If they are, then great, if not I think you'll eventually hit a problem against AV 13 or higher. Sooner or later some guy will bring a Monolith or a Land Raider along, and it may be difficult to fight against.

Otherwise, the list does look like fun. Good luck against IG though. With the amount of firepower alone, they'd be a tough game to play against.

Yes, 6" range, 3" for 2d6 Melta.

I'm a bad player, and I can even see how terrible that list is. I'd love to fight that since I exclusively use Vindicators as BT.

Edit: My judgment is not based on a counter-composition, you just can't simply rely on annihilation.

It's a fun list, not a competitive list. Never said it would be good and likely to win, but part of a game is to give your opponent a fight.

You might consider cutting the Dreads. As it stands, they come down one at a time, which makes them easy Melta bait. So, a better strategy might be taking Astorath and multiple squads of DC instead.

I suppose I may move onto this idea at a later date, but I plain like the idea of being able to cram 5 Dreadnoughts into your army. It might seem odd to want to not want more DC squads, but it seems like a major waste. Also, adding almost 100 points onto my current HQ (which I have recently modeled) makes it all the more difficult to squeeze in my force...
