I am making custom terrian including bridges and a tunnels andi have an idea for speical bridge rules. if a vehicle that uses a blast template would hit the bridge / units on the bridge on the wounding roll the attacking player would rollnone extra D6 to see if they damaged the bridge, it would go like this.
1: No Result
2, 3: Bridge shaken (Units that are currently on the bridge can not move or shoot next turn)
4, 5: Minor damage (All units must take a leadership test, failing units must take a armor save)
6: Bridge Destroyed (All units on the bridge must take a armor save, and the bridge then becomes impassable terrian)
What say you all?

The av rule does seem quite intriguing im definetly going to take that into consideration but i am not to sure what kind of av value it should receive as a base.

This seems like really bad news for assault armies. Defenders get one more advantage in killing before the horde arrives. Furthermore, there has to be at least one indestructible transit point so the the shooty army doesn't just spend turn 1 blowing up all ways across and sniping everyone on later turns.

I can see your concern but i have planned for this, the bridge its self is a huge tactical point for both armies, so just blowing it up would be a terrible choice, also the bridge its self can not be the target of an attack rather the only way it suffers damage is when the units on the bridge are blown the hell up
