Ok so as the topic says i jsut started warmachine i am familiar with the rules is started with a friend he got the khador side of the two player set and i got the menoth side i have no idea what i should get next what are menoths strengths and what works against khador?

Menoth's strengths are unit synergies. You can have like 3 or 4 bad things happen when the enemy kills one of your guys - bad for them, that is.

"Oh, you killed one of my knights? Well, they get stronger and tougher, this Seneschal gets stronger and tougher, THIS seneschal comes back to life, my warcaster is healed, this solo gets a soul token, and in my next turn this warjack will make a free move and attack."

If you will be consistently fighting khador, I recommend going the martial route. Menoth doesn't do shooting very well except for a couple shining stars, but they do melee VERY well.

I'd generally say buy models you like. But for me, I went knights and jacks and have never looked back. My caster of choice is Epic Kreoss, and I take 3 units of Knights Exemplar, a unit of Knights Errant, some Seneschals, and either a reclaimer or High Exemplar Gravus. For a jack, take either the Revenger for the arc node, a Crusader for a heavy-hitter that's cheap, or the Fire of Salvation character jack.

The daughters of the flame are a really good unit too. Not good at killing Khador jacks at ALL, but very good at killing casters and any infantry he has.

The instant additions to get to a solid 25pt army is Min Choir and The Book (Covenant of Menoth). Those are two points each and compliment your existing models very well.

It really depends on where you want your army to go. Lots of 'jacks, pic up Amon Ad-Raza, some dervishes, and some choirs. Lots of dudes, eKreoss and Exemplar units all over. Combo army,I like pKreoss, some exemplar units, a few jacks, and a choir.

iwas thinking epic kreoss arnother crusade and knights though what can stand upt to iron pike and storm sheilds jsut played game against friend felt liek the entire game iw as out classed my knight hardly got through his knights arm in sheild wall and i coudl not his scorshia fo the life of me wiht spells or even boosted attackes.

mainly what i ma saying is i need a army that can fight kahdor and circle mostly khador.

Your knights not cutting down what they attack? Are you charging (getting a boosted damage dice)? Are you remembering they are weapon masters (getting an additional damage dice)? How about their speed increase when damaged last turn (helping get the charge off)? That should give you an average roll of 25 and set the guy on fire so that next turn you'll have a 2/3 chance of a POW 12 to try and finish them off.

As for getting Sorscha. Negating her high defence is the key. Knockdown is the best method so save your feat (Kreoss1) until you can get the killing blow. Or use slams and throws to get her. Hand-cannon online did a guide about throws (part 1 and part 2) and a couple of guys have YouTube vids about power attacks (here, here and here).

They were stormsheilds in def wall each with 21 armor they never shot me because I (And this was a mistake of mine) got boffer in a little dr and he knew about my ability.( how are they averaging 25?)

Ah, shield wall = ARM 21. ok, so on the charge you'll be doing an average of 4 damage (POW 11 + 4D6). Not great but two cinerators should take down a shocktrooper leaving him 3 vs your 5 and then you'll be winning (slowly). You could bait his charge into you by leaving a tasty target for the shocktroopers to charge be that a jack or one lone cinerator but that's not the best idea.

Menoths strenghs are being able to take away good things from the opponants forces, like if khador kill a cinerator the rest get angry and hit back even harder

and it also works really well with the menoth in the two player battle box

I took my list against my friend and now he is trying to find otu how to stop me e has not won sinc ei started using e kreoss i always get stuck in with my knight and he has seen that he needs to one shot the unit or it will hurt i find the book of mentoth very useful and m forces have hurt him hard he no longer uses scorchia as kreoss feat wipes her i have also made a themed list swapping the coventant and redemerwith the special priest and his guards and the free senechal thank fo rthe help i am loving knights and jacks.
