I like 1500 point games, but always tend to fall back to my usual list. I'd like some help in getting a new unit in there to spice up my games. Here's the list.

-10 assault marines w/ flamer/powerweapon/plasma pistol
-AOBR dreadnought (if i bought a droppod I might consider taking this)
-random dev squad stuff (2 Plasma Cannons, 2 Missile Launchers, Heavy Bolter, 2 Lascannons and an extra 5 marines)
-mangla squig.....jk

I'm not opposed to buying something new. I'm currently looking at a bike squad or something. I usually push forward with my two Melta Tac squads and the Sternguard towards their objective, and I think a bike squad would compliment that. Are double melta/powerfist bike squads viable?

How about a couple of razorbacks? You could play with three tactical squads in razorbacks, then maybe a dev. squad to support their heavy weapon combat squads.

Double plasma with multimelta attack bike is the best choice for the bike squad for reasons of range and capability.

Also a single drop pod might be the fun you are looking for.
