I've heard that before any shooting is done, if you want to charge, then your unit must declare who they will fire at and charge. But if I have 3 battlesuits who all have target locks, can I declare that I am targeting/ charging one unit, then use those target locks to fire at a different unit without having a single guy fire on the specified unit, then charge said unit? Just making sure no one uses any loopholes on me.

The turns go, Movement, Shooting, Assaults. So you do not have to declare your assaults prior to shooting. However, unless your unit has "We Are Legion" or something similar, they can only charge the unit that they shot at. Hope that helps.

With target locks "the unit" declares A target. Each mode with target lock can then specify a different unit to fire at, however "the unit" HAS fired at ONE unit, and that is the unit that they can assault - no other
