I posted on the Battle standard forum, but it seems NO ONE goes on their, because I posted it like...2 days ago and no one even viewed it....

So I will post here, if anyone wants to help me play my first game to get me into 40k, just send me a PM or post here......

I am not to sure to many guys are on here, but i do know that lots of people do show up and you should be able to find a game easily.

I do know even more people play and come around on Friday Night. So if you make that trip to swing through, it should be pretty easy to find a game, if you come on friday ask for Todd, and ill introduce you to some of the guys and get you a game with someone who will be happy to play,teach, and make your first game about experience and not just winning/losing.

I can't do Fridays, Saturdays are my only day when I would be able to play....

Well make the trip on Saturday there should be guys here and pretty easy to find a game.

Where do you live? I am in Hamden. I have a table, terrain, rules, etc. everything to play a game. I'm always looking for folks to play a game with. My roommate also plays CSM and soon to be necrons. If a casual, learners game is what you are looking for, I'd be willing to help out.

This weekend I'm booked up, but any time after might work.

As far as TBS goes, the new store is simply amazing. I used to live in West Hartford and TBS was my primary source for 40k. I'd say you have a great chance of just showing up and getting a game going on any given saturday. The place was always packed with gamers playing 40k. Good luck!

Saturdays are mostly packed with activity at TBS. that's our Tournament day so some form of tourney is bound to be happening but regardless there are plenty of tables to go around. If you're worried you may not get a table simply call us ahead of time.

I live in Enfield, where do you live in Hamden? I might be close enough to go for games...

And honestly, I think if you walk in and approach some guys about playing and explain it'll be your first game and you really need help learning, someone will step forward. At least a good sportsman would. The staff at TBS are pretty knowledgeable and friendly and they can probably help arrange something with prior notice. Besides, its in their interest- another avid 40k player is future revenue

Or just call ahead of time to reserve a table to play a game on?

They might help arrange a game, but you can definitely try to secure a table by calling ahead of time

I would call to make sure the tables are opened or just reserve. But there are a ton of great guys who play there, also Tommy is a great store owner who will help you set up a game for sure. Definitely worth a trip.

Alright, I will call either later today, or tomorrow morning, I don't want to just walk in and hope to find a game......I'm the kind of guy that likes to know I have someone their to play with haha
