Tank Hunters doesn't add to strength, it adds to the pen roll. So you'd get 10+1d6+1.

Yes it would be EFFECTIVELY S11. It adds +1 to the to-pen roll so it effectively would statiscally damage as IF it was s11

Just wondering here is it actually possible to do this in a normal 40k game?

Necrons have STR10 guns and an HQ that can give Tank Hunters to a unit - not sure if the unit type is restricted.

Pask in a Demolisher, ST 10 Ordnance with his cersion of tank hunter plus Ordnance roll 2d6 take the highest.

If you have Logan Grimnar in with a unit of thunderwolves with a thunderhammer or power fist Logan can give the unit tank hunters and the thunderhammers or power fist give Strength 10 attacks because of the thunderwolves.

Not likely to happen, and not a shooting attack, but it is possible.

Yes there is a shooting way of accomplishing this. In the Necron Codex, you can take a piece of wargear called a Tachyon Arrow. One shot, str 10 ap1 infinite range shooting attack. Nemesor Zahndrekh can give any unit at the start of your turn a single USR, from a particular list available. One of those is Tank Hunters, so I was basically asking if I could take the Arrow and make it easier to bust through a land raider or anything else to that effect.

As pointed out before, it is possible to take the Tachyon Arrow, and have Nemesor Zahndrekh give any unit Tank hunters, so you would roll D6 +10 for the arrows strength, +1 for tank hunters, so effectively 1D6 +11 to pen whatever vehicle you just shot at
