So......say I arm a wolf guard termie with a chain fist and a wolf claw, would I then be able to choose between 3(4 if charging) S4 attacks that get re rolls or 3/4 attacks at S8?

And if I do get to pick which attacks, when do I claim which one I'm using and if I pick one or.the other does it effect.the.I since one is a powerfist and one is not?

Also can I choose to do 2 of each(obviously when charging)? And if so then do they.strike at different I? Oh oh side.note, when choosing grimnars attacks.do.they.go at.different I?

Just lookin to try to figure something out, thanks

Pg 42, col 2, par 9, FIGHTING WITH TWO SINGLE_HANDED WEAPONS: Two different special weapons: "When it is their turn to attack, these models must choose which weapon to use that turn, but they never get the bonus attack for using two weapons (such is the penalty for wielding too many complex weapons!).

I don't know the specifics of Grimnar or Wolf Guard Terminators, but the rules say that you have to pick one of your weapons. You cannot split the attacks between weapons. You have to make the decision at the first Initiative step that you can use the first weapon, as you have to declare you attacks before rolling any dice for that Initiative step.

I don't write the rules. My ego just lives and dies by them one model at a time.

I'm not talking bout grimnars termies I'm talking bout Logan himself. He can use his axe as either a frost blade or a powerfist and can allocate his attacks as either but says nothing bout initiative.....

1) Ghengis has is exactly - when it gets to I4 you must decide if you are using the claw. If you decide not to you will drop to I1 and use the fist

2) Logan has a special rule allowing him to split his attacks, with each attack using the properties of the weapon he is using to make that attack with. So He attacks at I1 or I5, double strength or +1S

I kinda figured that's how it was I was just secretly wishing that it wasn't that I could get all attacks at I 5 for Logan. I can dream can't I? Lol

N as far as the dual special CC weapons thanks for the clarification but right after I posted I decided to dig for the answer, but before I could even stick the shovel in the ground a zombie with the answer bit me right in the face! Lol how's that for a metaphor?
