I bought the rule book back in July and loved the rules. I used prepainted plastic miniatures I bought at various stores like AC Moore.

Now that Black Scorpion is converting from metal to Resin, I have feeling my wallet is going to cry.

Anyone else play?

I'm not a fan of a purely random roll determining how much stuff you can do a turn. Otherwise, I like a lot of other things about the rules and the type of game it is.

You can see its problem when the beasts of war guys do a demo of the rules. One player keeps rolling a low number of actions, and the other rolls high many turns in a row.

I'd prefer they gave players some amount of actions, then adding to that with the roll, or some system for leveling out the action counts. Even giving the player who lost last turn a bonus on the next turn would help.

That's the only thing I do not like about the rules.

Personally I think a set number of actions for X amount of "points" would be best.

And a commander/officer gets to add X number of actions to that.

So a higher ranking officer will get to add more than a "rookie"

Some factions will have better officers than others.
