So this year for adepticon I decided to play Killzone. This seems like a good choice because I have played 40k maybe twice since 5th edition was released. I am still fairly confident that with a quick rules reread and a few practice games, I should be ace. You only use 250 points total so theres not so much to follow.

I have done 3 different armies in the past Night Lords, Lost and the Damned, and Eldar. (some of my old armies can be seen in my gallery) I used a lot of blues in both the NL and the LOTD, and finally decided to do Eldar for something new. I really enjoyed all the different color options I had available as I built a Biel Tan army that was heavy on all the different aspects. These armies have all been long sold off so I needed to decide on a brand new force.

I did a good amount of searching and finally decided on Dark Eldar. I was very fond of playing Eldar and found out that they were quite powerful when used correctly. I had also been handed my hat against DE in a few tournies from days of old. I first grabbed some Hellions, and them some Scourges. Then the deal of the season was offered by Dakkas own Mikhaila & Showcase Comics. He offered up the DE Megaforce for 30% off. Then and there I was sold. After seeing all the really sweet prizes available from Ard Boyz tournies I have decided to start playing full scale again.

I am going to be doing a Wyche Cult. Fluff is only concept atm but the general idea is the entire army (support included) is part of a performing group in the Arenas of Commagrath. They are also fearsome Raiders and have no need for dark colors. Slinking around in the shadows is not where this army wants to be. When you see their colors it is already to late.

I have only painted a few models so far as test models, but I am happy with my results. My flesh tones along with hair color gives my force a Jokeresque image, and I am just fine with that. Now onto some pictures.

Some Hellions WIP:

My Scourge scheme. I am very proud of this first model and can't wait to see how 2 units of them look on the tabletop. Now to just trade away those bat wings.

Hope you enjoy so far, and expect regular updates.
