So I'll be thinking of getting a couple of Stormravens 'round Christmas and I was wondering if it's worth using the CH Upgrade Kit.

Has the Stormraven's 'dinky' shape grown on people yet?

I am unconvinced, it does look a little silly, but the upgrade is a little bit pricey...

What I'd like is not only opinions but also some *painted* pictures of an upgraded Stormraven, or maybe a side-on profile pic comparing a vanilla Stormraven to an upgraded one? I can't find these anywhere.

Thanks... though I must stress this isn't a Stormraven hate thread, I may not love the model but I think it's aesthetics would be great if it weren't so ill-proportioned (length-wise).

Sorry I can't add a pic, but I am thinking of getting a SR in the new year. Having seen a pic of the SR with the CH upgrade kit I must say that on the whole it is a must have. I love what it does to the overall dimensions, but am not necessarily enamoured with what it appears to do to the turret.
