I'm pretty new to wargaming. I got my VC battalion at Games Day. My brother's been playing 40k for quite a few years now and I asked to paint one of his Space Marines but they didn't really click with me. (I paint outside of WH as well.) Then my boyfriend said he used to play Fantasy when he was younger; I started looking at the models and that was that. We all went down to Chicago for Games Day.
I have found some 40k armies I like the look of but painting my VC army is going to keep me busy for a long while. I shudder at the thought of the extra box of GG I bought.
