He's not bad if you run the black templar codex. Thats why I have 5 chaplains in total for my templar

The Emperor extends His will to us when we destroy the wicked and impure to reconquer the galaxy in His name. The Emperor leads the galaxy to righteousness, and thus we must petition for His judgement on the wicked... for it is judgement without mercy..

I've never noticed before now, that Chaplains feet. Kind of ruins the model a bit for me, just doesn't seem right.

I disagree. Forgeworld thing is a) ugly, b) still horribly unbalanced if it would lift a leg due to the stupid axle for a hip and c) still not in-line with the general space marine aesthetic like the Dreadknight with is more "space-marine"-style rounded pauldrons, arms and legs.

Dreadknight is the infinitly superiour sculpt and simply far cooler to look at.

Well. Most dog turds I've seen are better to look at than the fugly FW-hackjob. So that isn't a particularly high bar, even for less convincing minis than the Dreadknight. The Washingmachine-Dreads, though the should've been discontinued some years ago, at least still have the excuse of "design-limitations" for full-metal minis produced in the early 1990s.

I have to ask...how do you consider the dreadknight to be an awesome model? Let alone in the top 40. I have to assume you're joking, or else we need to get you in to see a specialist-fast!! Dreadnoughts aren't perfect out of the box, but some good conversion work can make them epic. Personally, I love the new plastic daemon prince. I painted mine in NM colors and named him sergeant mcfistypants. He has crack fingers and looks like he's going to violate a hooker's danger zone.

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

Well, something about bad-ass giant robot-walker war machines appeals to me deep inside. I blame years of watching Aliens, playing Battletech, and stuff like that.

Unfortunatly, GW didn't produce a cool one (e.g. only fugly boxes on stubby-legs where I don't know if I should cry or laugh or both everytime I see them). But the wait was worth it I guess for the awsomeness of the Dreadknight. To me, it is not only the top 40. It's easily in the top 3 and not at last place.

Haters gonna hate and all that.

Aliens, matrix and avatar were all good walkers. Dreadknight? Ehhhhh... I personally know one guy out of thirty wargaming friends who likes it. Still can't figure out why he's mixing chemicals under the sink into a cocktail.

/shrug

Wasn't the question of this thread. Question was what my favorite mini is. Not what the average taste of your deluded friends would be, even though one non-sheep with the ability to form an opinion on his own and still willing to hang out with you leaves some hope for you as well.

To answer the OP> Nemesis Dreadknight (AND I don't even play Grey Knights.... yet perhaps)
