Hey y'all, I'm going to be filling out paperwork for a job this weekend, and I get to pick my work location. I'm looking to experience Lousiana a bit, and I wanted to get an idea of what the gaming scene down there was like. I'm looking at the New Iberia, Houma, Larose, and Youngsville areas. Also if you can give me a run down of what the areas themselves are like (I dont mean demographics pulled from wikipedia, I already did that, I just mean like quality of life, what to expect, crime issues, etc.) I would very much appreciate it!

Thanks!

There's And Books Too in Lafayette, which Youngsville is pretty much a part of. New Iberia isn't that far from it either. We have a good sized group, which play 40k and Warmahordes, however 40k has kind of been on the way side for a few months as we're all taking a break from it to play Warmachine. People will still play it though, including myself.
