hey guys this is my first post on dakkadakka and im feeling like its going to sound like a stupid question but here goes.
ive recently started my second army, black templars, all i have the assault on black reach SM's so heavy conversion is the name of the game lol and i recently converted one of my termies arms into a lightning claw, my question is can my termiators have single lightning claws with their storm bolters? also any suggestions on what i can do to alter my assault on black reach models into better black templars would be greatly appreciated. thanks in advanced guys!!

No, your only option is to have dual lightning claws, and no SB

Robes and chapter heraldry are fairly easy to model with greenstuff (or some other modelling putty).

Or a thunder hammer storm shield combo. If it were me I'd prolly just pay the extra 5 pts n get regular ones with a chainfist

keep in mind you cant mix normal and assault terminators in the same squad.

Oh of course but seeing as how they have the same stat line I see no reason to take the assault version without a very specific battlefield role in mind. That's just my opinion though
