I am partaking in a 400pts tournament.
Rules are.
1 troops choice minimum and its 1 objective each so i am dusting off the old IG for this one.

Infantry platoon.

command Al,rahem medic flamer =135

Chimera w/ heavy flamer taret hevy bolter heavy stubber =65

infantry w/ power weapon grenade luncher =70
infantry w/ power weapon grenade luncher =70
infantry w/ melta gun =60

=400
Doing this list to have fun but i think it will do well.

At 400 points, characters are really huge drains. that 70 points
could let you get a second chimera. or another squad.

On the chimera you have, i'd give it ML in the turret and HHF.

Do you know his rules?
he lets that hole infantry platoon outflank including the chimera. so for an objetive game it will be very usefull.

Im playing for fun and this list is sumthing difernt.
I'v had a chance to play test the army today and its working well. I come on from the side hit them with a heavy flamer and then 1st rank 2nd rank them it killed what ever was there strait off not even 7 plague marines withstands it. Beacuse im only using troops i can hold any objetive.

If you want a list like that you could try something like this..

Platoon command-Alrahem,3xmelta guns

Pis-commisar, power weapon,melta gun and melta bombs
Pis-power weapon,melta gun and melta bombs
Pis-power weapon,melta gun and melta bombs

That dose look good but i like the outflanking tank and the medic helps on the command.

Smeg, your proof positive you don't need a HQ for this game? Because Al'Rahim is a PCS, not a CCS.

If not... the Medic is also a huge drain of 30pts. That can upgrade your GLs to something useful and fill out Al's PCS special weapon slots that are empty, probably with more flamers.

Also, you /have/ to Outflank... which means you may not be on the board for 3 turns, and with no Astropath, you can't even re-roll sides. On a normal table that is 6' across, they can grab your objective and their own and turtle up in the middle, taking a few shots from you, then pie plating you back off the board, special with 3 Ld 8 PIS that will run off the board before you even get a chance to re-group.

I wouldn't use Al-Rahim, but again, I question the legality of your list concerning the tourney...
