Being playing my dark eldar solid for about 3 months now, and before that my CSM so my poor salamanders haven't had much of a look in recently. But gonna dust them off for a couple of games i have coming up

HQ = 300 pts
Vulkan
Librarian with combi-melta, gate of infinity and null zone powers

Elites = 530
Ironclad dreadnought with siesmic hammer/meltagun and DCCW/heavy flamer, drop pod
5 Hammernators
Dreadnought with multimelta, DCCW/heavy flamer, drop pod

Troops = 580 pts
10 x tactical marines with plasma cannon, flamer and sarge with combi-flamer and powerfist, Razorback
10 x tactical marines with multimelta, meltagun and sarge with combi-melta and powerfist, drop pod
5 x scouts with sniper rifles and hellfire heavy bolter

Heavy Support = 340 pts

Autolas predator 120
Autolas predator 120
Thunderfire cannon 100

1750

my tactic is usually to put the Librarian with the Termies and gate them up the table first turn, and run them in the shooting phase to not be in deep strike formation. That, coupled with either both dreads arriving first turn, or a dread and the combat-squad-shoot-two-tanks-with-twin-linked-melta tactical squad should force my opponent totally on the defensive. My scouts and the combat squad with the plasma cannon get deployed in a 3+ cover save from the techmarines bolstered defences, predators de-mech stuff for my plasma cannon, hellfire shell and TFC to wound units on a 2+. Vulkan goes with the flamey combat squad in the razor and moves 12" popping smoke first turn and they usually get the charge after flaming turn 2 or 3

I used to use two individual attack bikes with multimeltas and turbo boost them first turn before I put in the librarian. They were always a threat by themselves, as your opponent genrally has to fire at least 4 anti-tank weapons at them first turn to be quite sure of killing them (miss with one, 3 hit and 2 passed cover saves is the most likely outcome) but they can't usually spare that from the dreadnoughts. But I feel the librarian makes the hammernators more viable and more mobile. How about you guys?

It's looks pretty go to me, A few minor tweeks, I'm not a fan of plasma cannons, If you also switched the tacticals squads from power fists to powersworads you might have enough points to add Telion to the snipers which would be nice with the HB (3 ws 6 shots wounding on a 2+)

HIDING IN METAL BAWKSES!

I just want to make sure that you know, but the combi-weapons attachments do not gain anything from Vulkans Chapter Tactics.

Other than that, I would just suggest more flamers and meltas. You want to make sure you get the most out of him.

someone tried that on me at a throne of skulls tournament, the one's GW runs at Warhammer world with ~ 200 players. The ref looked at my opponent as if they were mental, and told me that it does. Had a discussion with the (GW) refs and organisers and they were in total consensus about it

Incorrect. The combi-weapons do benefit and are twin-linked.

Indeed they are twin-linked.

Any feedback on the army?
