It's a skill based hobby, no doubt, some people are just plain better at making and painting. I've just got in it, but already I think constantly on what things I -want- to make but know I can't.

So, anything in particular you wish to do, but simply cannot with your current skillset?

The biggest thing on my list of "want" is a Necron Dragon. Like a big, medival based sort of Dragon with necron platting and glowy bits. I just plain love dragons, and I could make that model, I would in a heartbeat. But as is, I'm still just learning to paint!

Look Behind you

Always wanted to make my own models, but they never seem to turn out right when I'd tried to do it.

Hmm. Well do you mean in general or in 40k? There's a million things I'd love to be able to do IRL, but in 40k... Hmm. Not too much. I'm happy with my skills.

I'd like to be able to sculpt a little better, but being able to fill gaps is plenty good for a while. I'd also like to be able to paint NMMs, but eh.

I'm very happy with my skills altogether - it's time and motivation that are my problem. The only project I've felt I didn't have the skills for is restoring an RT Land Raider I got. The lascannons came snapped off and I need to figure out a good way to remount them while giving them some semblance of durability.

What i want to do is paint this guy!

And why do i wanna paint it? Because his my favorit miniature and i simply love everything that has decay and Nurgle in it!

But this single figure is pretty expensive, and i don't trust my painting skills as of yet to paint it.

I have actually already bought this guy, just standing on my shelf looking all resin.

Properly sculpt some models from scratch rather than using armatures based off of GW models would be nice. Failing that just being able to sculpt half decently (...or even just get around to buying the tools so I do just that) would be nice. ^^'
