What is your worst defeat?
The match the made you cringe every time you remember it.

I'll start.

I played against an Eldar player who wiped the table off of my CSM and I successfully killed two of his models.

Mine was were I had 2 Brotherhood Champions & Vulkan He'stan killed both. I then failed one psychic test to cast Sacrifice and the other one missed. The rest of the army failed to do ****. Dunno why but I rolled feth tons of 1's and he rolled feth tons of 6s.

Don't use Photobucket, it's terrible. Use Dakka's gallery for anything gaming-related and you won't have bandwidth problems.

My worst defeats have probably both been in the last month. I had two killpoints games with my Chaos Marines - one against Dark Eldar, one against Grey Knights. Against Dark Eldar I got around 3 killpoints by the end of the game, and was pretty much tabled. My Iron Warriors were like a wagon train getting circled by Indians, but now the Indians had darklances and splintercannons. My other game was this week when I fought against a GK list. It wasn't even a particularly nasty list, he just rolled sixes on every single vehicle result and I couldn't do jack. I killed 1 henchman and 3 Grey Knight Terminators that game. I knew armies that could have destroyed either of these lists, but both times I got outmaneuvered, outrolled, and outplayed, with a badly matched up army list to boot.

Had a battle against a terminator army, threw all my eldar at them, including two wraithlords. Still lost, only managed to take down 2 of his troops.

But i was still learning, it was one of my first matches lol

Tournament game. Kustom mech with a Kan wall, and a truck of boys. Objective bashed. His objective was guarded by a Kan, and he nailed the truck into my dreadnought, and subsequently took my objective after his nob nailed a PK into it. My marine squad in rhino took a hit from his kan, and ended up walking the length of the board.

Also, having my marine army shot up by a bunch of ork bikers in the same night

First game ever, I got my Marines completely destroyed be Tau.

Dark Angels Vs. Blood Angels.

He lost nothing, I got my ass stomped by his SG.

**The Mad Tanker**

Last tournament, IG/Ork (me and a friend) vs Necron/Orks.

Lost half my troops (including Creed) to Imotekh's lighting.
Lost three tanks to scarabs in that many turns.
My partner was tabled turn 3.
I was almost tabled saved for one LR Executioner that was immobilized and weaponized destroyed.

We killed 5 Necrons, 20 Orks and 1 Killa Kan thanks to stupid nightfighing the whole game.

When Abaddon killed about half of my tyranids then wiped out my tyrant guard and hive tyrant. That was a bad day for the gribblies.

When I was charging my DC (Fething Rage!) towards the enemy, who for some reason in a 500pt game brought an extraordinary amount of AT. Finding nothing better to shoot, the enemy first blew away every single DC I had with AT, then exploded my Dreadnought. All that was left was a reclusiarch. I didn't make a single kill for all of that battle, and my Reclusiarch only survived through some very good saves.

Tournament match with my Tyranids against Purifier Grey Knights, Annihilation. It was the final round of the tournament, I was undefeated at that point, then the purifiers proceeded to table my army and I didn't kill a single model.

It was like I was using the wrong rules or something.... so.... horrible...

Apoc game I was playing Chaos. The other guy used a sm beacon so I couldnt deepstrike near it.. I got to sit on the table edge and get blown to bits.. It was sad and my first Apoc game.

My CSM vs a razorback spam SW army. Dawn of War. He has the first turn, so I opt to not deploy and instead just drive everything on at once. My turn comes, and my rhinos & defilers show up, go as far forward as they can, and pop smoke. His 2nd turn, he proceeds to explode every. single. tank. With my hordes of berzerkers now forced to walk across the field, staring down the barrel of some 6-7 las-plas razorbacks and 15 missile launchers, without the support of their own big guns, it quickly turned into a formality.

I was still new with 5th ed guard against the then-new blood angels codex. We were playing a goofy mission which I won straight away by the end of turn 2. The only way I could possibly lose was if my army got wiped.

... it was.

On the converse, probably the worst defeat I inflicted on someone else was this one. Basically a single die roll comprehensively ended my opponent turn 2. I felt pretty bad for my opponent after this one.

4th ed. SM vs XIII Co. I had 27 pw attacks from my command squad against his HQ. I charged, needed 3's to hit. Missed all but one. Rerolled due to chaplain. Missed all rerolls but 2. 3 total hits out of 27. Proceeded to fail to wound on all but 1. He then killed my Chapter Master, broke the unit, ran it off the board, then wiped my whole army with that one model, since I only had one unit for close combat (A highly effective counter assault unit)

Out of the 26 games that I played in 4e with Marines, it was one of my two losses. And only because I couldn't hit 3's on a reroll. (On average the HQ should have been dead 4 times over. Even BAD rolling should have had him dead. This was a thing of legend.)

**Frankenberry**

1500 point Gunline IG army against Footdar.

I killed MAYBE 8 models.
