Can't find an answer for this one.

say a caster starts his turn and decides to move through an AOE taking the damage. Does the unspent focus add to his armour? and can he go on to use it after the move.

I think the answer is yes, but not sure.

P74 of Prime MkII last paragraph. Any unspent focus adds to armor. So as long as the caster has focus on him it adds to his armor. If he later spends that focus then he can not add it to his current armor statistic but, so long as he has that focus it adds.
