I was at my LGS today, and saw some new models on the shelf that i hadnt seen before. My immediate thought when i saw them was how great they would look converted into chaos space marine obliterators. They are the "Dust Tactics : Grim Reapers"

Unfortunately, i cannot tell the scale from the box. Are they in scale with WH 40k or not? They are pretty cheap in comparison to GW, but its still not an amount I'm willing to spend on models that are too big or two small for my army.

I think they are on a 40mm base (or 35mm) but they are much shorter than any 40k model.

The basic infantrymen models are rougly a head taller than an Imperial Guardsman miniature and the walkers are about the size of Guard Sentinels. For the scale I wouldn't use those models for Obliterators without a good amount of greenstuff on them. =P

I think they're about 30mm true scale, so taller but more well proportioned

Hi Raven, Dust Tactics puts out two scales I am sure about one is 1/48 scale, the same scale as WH 40K and the other is 1/35th scale. I am converting some DT walkers to WH 40k Imperial Powered units ( IE Walkers and infantry Armor Powered units). I have found that most of the weapon can be used with my Imperial Guard units since they are only slightly smaller. At first look it may seem that the 1/48 scale walkers ( The DT Scale that I am using ) may appear to odd for the IG, but a closer look will show that indeed it does work.

Raven, I have some allied hard boys which are the same armor as the Grim reapers and they are almost as bulky as power armor SM but idk how to explain it you can tell the person inside has a much smaller build and frame than a space marine.

Gentleman let them here from VMI this day!
