Ok, my brother and I are planning on going to a team tourney next month and I am planning on taking my BT and he is ganna take his SM. The restrictions for the tourney is that each of us has to bring a 1000pt list that includes 1HQ and 2TROOPS. So, hopefully you guys can help us make a good list!

The master of the forge doesn't add too much to the army.

I think the armies would work better if BT also used razorbacks then all units would go together with only the Cannon being left behind.

Black Templar razarbacks are to overpriced to really use. And the MotF was is there for a basic cheap HQ and the conversion beamer.

5 man tactical squad can not take the flamer.

BT rhinos are too overpriced to use. Their lasbacks in comparison are justifiable.

I see lots of Armour 10 vehicles.

The EC and termis look good, but what do the initiates have? Bp/CCW? If so ok. Honestly I think a single LR or LRBT will ruin yalls day though. I'd consider a TLLC/ML Ven dread with tank hunters and salvage points from the crusader squads by making them 5 man with LC/PG. You can use the speeders to mop up hordes and use to engage light armor.

I don't see alot of benefit from the MotF, but he can't take a libby so maybe a capt with relic blade/SS? I'd also consider dropping one of the rifleman dreads to round out that tac squad and maybe go LC/TLPG over the TL assault cannons.

I like it alot. The chapter master is a bit much but I have soft spot for him.
I think a captain with relic blade, storm shield and articficiciericiicer armour would be better but hey I have been lucky with orbital bombardment.

Seriously everything works seriously well together.

You have 3 dreads and termies, with 2 razorbacks walking 6'' and shooting on one side, all giving a hard wall. Then 4 units of 5 men with heavy weapons protecting the cannon, which is protection in numbers. With the chapter master with the back unit as he needs to be still to bombard.
The Emperors Champion will run straight ahead by himself, BTs must get through so many of their champions. Do this though, who will take time to shoot one model who at given moment of time is no threat.
Typhoons can do what they want they are cheap.

Thats kind of the idea, but we will probably have the EC in the back with the Las/plas teams and the chapter master in a Back.
