I think it would be a fun excercise to see what we can do with it + a bit of extra cash.

Rules below:

1) You dont have to use everything within the battleforce, but the more models you use the better. 1750 Point lists
2) As well as everything in the box, you have $200 dollars extra to spend on bits and bobs. You have to use this site: http://www.thewarstore.com/ to spend your cash on extra bits. Any non bits orders you have to buy from GW at US prices. Give yourself a 25% discount for any complete box , full price for finecast/webstore order etc
3) Bits dont have to be in stock at Warstore, but you must "pay" the price of the out of stock item
4) Everything must be WYSIWYG. You can build some things out of GS/Plasticard, but assume a low level of modeling experience - ie no scratchbuilt Rhinos etc.
5) You can use SW/BA/DA/Templar marine codexes in addition to codex marines.
6) State your purchases+ costs and then your lists in a standard, readable format for judging!


Prizes:

After a week or two, ill pick the 3 lists that look the most ossum and set a vote up in this forum to see which list the public rates as the best. Winner will receive 1 (one) Ork painted by my own inept hand, and the undying love of the Dakka community for the economic list McGuyvering.


Its obviously a crap prize, but I just thought this would be a fun list building/ecomising/Mcguyvering excerise!

Im going to have a crack at a list myself as well.

2. By "decent", do you mean from a competitive stand point?

3. You then choose a few of the lists that we've made, and enter it into a poll.

4. Winner gets your prize.

Am I correct on all accounts? So is this contest just about list making, or do we actually acquire models and do this? I'm leading towards the former, but just want to be absolutely sure.

Wait, what's the exchange rate. Does anybody dabble in the currency markets? Lessee if we buy Sheckles, exchange them for Australian Dollars, channel them through Chinese Huans and THEN use them to purchase conterfeit pounds I bet we could get it up to $400! So megaforce + $400 then?

Not planning on building the army myself or anything, just thought it would be fun to do conceptually. I've made a fairly decent Vulkan list that Ill post tonight.
