Hey, the first army i picked up for 40k was Radical Inquisition with an Inquisitor Lord and lots of stormtroopers and henchmen but with the new Grey Knights book this army is not playable anymore, i don't like the new fluff which allows daemonhosts and radical inquisitors to play in the same army as grey knights so does anyone have any ideas as to what army i could use with my radival inquisitor army list?

Depending on loadouts, a lot of cool lists can be made with the IG or GK codex.
IG:
Inq Stormtroopers = Storm Troopers or Veterans
Assassin = Marbo
Henchmen squads = PCS/CCS/SWS
Inquisitor Lord = Primaris, Commissar Lord or CCS
Daemonhosts / Wacky Guys = PBS
GK
Inquisitor Lord = Coteaz Counts As
StormTroopers / Henchmen = Henchmen
Oh and if you don't like Daemonhosts and Radicals playing with GK, don't put them in the army. More options are better than less options. Doesn't mean you are foreced to use them.

I know a couple guys who run IG as Inquisition and my new CCS is my old Hereticus Inquisitor now.
It is nice to have multiple armies from the same book. I think you can still have a pretty competitive and cool Coteaz list from the GK book as well.

There are some outstanding Coteaz armies. They can lay down a lot of hurt just have to play them differently since there are not as durable as termies. You keep that in mind and you can go far. Recently played a Coteaz that used the psyker squads to lay down a lot of str 10 shots while pressing the issue with crusader/dca in storm ravens.. oh also toting in a dread.

I too miss the old damon hunter rules, but a Coteaz army does allow for a lot of flexability. Other than the henchmen having BS 3 intsead of the Storm Troopers 4 you can pretty much make an old school DH list out of a Coteaz army. Just go heavy henchmen, and light on GK and there you go. I don't like the idea of depending on a special character, but it is better than shelving an entire army. Also if you are playing among friends try making a house rule that any inquisitor allows henchmen as troops. As for fluff, take a note from me and just ignore it all together, they will just change it again when it suits them.

Coteaz spam has the unfortunate characteristic of being VERY MEHTAL BAWKS dependent, but you can make any kind of squad you want out it. Want a "devestator" squad, pick up 3 gun servitors and 1-2 jokaero, and supplement with ablative wounds extra acolytes as you feel you need. Need a melee squad, DCA, Arcoflaggelents, and Crusaders are all to happy to sign up, and whichever guy can take an eviscerator is also a decent buy. Do you need Str10 ap1 large blasts, grab a ton of psykers, and maybe some crusaders to help keep them alive. Need Anti-Tank take 3 acolytes with Meltas, maybe add a jokaero, mount it in a rhino and PROFIT.

Mind lock is a little harsh though, servitors are kinds useless unless you have an inquisitor with them. It would be nice for balace though if there was a limit of 3-4 for all types except warriors per squad.

This is very true, if you are going to run those guys you probably want to grab a second inquisitor HQ to hang out in that unit and contribute some form of firepower. (I say a second one because Coteaz is fairly CC, and you could kit out another inquisitor for shooting real easy).
also an acolyte with a stormbolter is only 7pts, you have ablative wounds that can contribute quite well, yes it almost double the price of your guy, but Stormbolters are really good in any unit, all the fun of doubletapping bolters with none of the hassle.
