I was wondering, can one unit hold multiple objectives? Or is it restricted to one unit - one objecticve... I mean it is more than possible that one unit could spread out and hold up to at least 3 objectives and still holding unit coherency... I can't find anything in the rulebook that conts against this...

This is covered in the FAQ. A unit can if stretched out long enough hold multiple objectives, though this rarely ever happens... (according to the faq anyway).

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.

You could but with the standard game types the most i have seen is 1 squad holding 2.

The enemy of my enemy is a bastard so lets kill him too.

I have a friend that does gaunt-nid lists with full troops choises of termagaunts and have won several times by spreading out his gaunts and holding several objectives with them... I did the same yesterday with my plaguebearers and my oponent got sour about it and meant that I couldn't do that! It meant that it was a draw, but if counting one unit holding two objectives the victory was mine!

With three objectives with 12" between you can do one unit - three objectives with big units. (termagaunts 30 max f.e)

Refer him to the latest GW Main RUlebook FAQ:

Q: Can the same unit control several objectives,
providing it is large enough to be within 3" of each
one of them ? (p91)
A: Yes, absolutely, but we find this does not happen
that often when enemies are around...

Kroot with hounds can do this quite well (and I appreciate that from those cheap little guys)... especially in cover
