Howdy-do,
Been interested in all things Warhammer for some time now (bought a bunch of WHFB Undead stuff back when they were still called "Undead"... but never actually got around to doing anything with them. I just thought they looked cool *shrug*).
People have been trying to get me into 40k for years now, suggesting I try the Necrons, as they suited my style/tastes. While being interested in them, the thing keeping me back from starting was their lack of variety.

SO, as soon as I heard they were getting a major overhaul, I went and picked up the new Codex the day it came out.
VERY impressed, so far!
Been writing up several variations of lists (ScarabFarm, WarriorPhalanx, and of course, WraithWing)... though it's tough to settle on just one (maybe it's possible to create a hybrid?)
Basically just holding out on actually purchasing models until the second wave comes out. Hopefully by that time 6th Ed. will also be around, as well as a Necron FAQ.
In the mean time, looking forward to seeing what everyone can do with the Toasters!

Though, I am kinda tempted to convert my entire army into either this  this  or this  and I will even more tempted to run a Stalker if I can find one of those old Space Crusade Dreadnoughts to convert,
