Hey guys. I'm new with the rules and I'm trying to think of some manuevers I can pull off so I can stop getting my butt kicked all the time. Anyways, I've a libby that joins a tac combat squad with a razorback. If the libby and combat squad are in the razorback and the libby uses Gate of Infinity does the razorback get teleported with them? Thanks.

To use a shooting psychic power you need a shooting opening for los. Razorback doesnt have one so you cant use a psy power or shoot.

Gate of Infinity is not a PSA. It is a power that allows the Librarian and his unit to be removed from the table and Deep Strike back in. The answer to the original question is no, you would not take the Razorback with you as a transport is never considered a part of the unit and ICs can not join vehicles.

Hmmmm, GoI is not a Psychic Shooting Attack (used in the movement phase, isn't it?). So lack of a firing port has no bearing on whether or not it can be cast. You can indeed cast powers while in a vehicle with no firing port, it just means that you can only cast them on yourself and any unit that happens to be in the transport with you. However, GoI only affects the unit the Lbby is joined to, and while he may be IN a transport, he is not joined TO the transport.
So bottom line, yes, the libby can cast the power but the razorback is not affected.
And don't worry, someone will come along in a minute with the BS about you can't do it because there's no way to remove the model from the table because it's not on the table..................

Don, just to be "that guy", the GoI says any unit the Libby is with and uhh, I need to go re-read that thread about why you can take a vehicle with you through the GoI...

Which means 'joined to...'
There is no other in-game definition of 'with' that can be applied with any sort of consistency.
