So im thinking about rebuilding my blood angels to anywhere between 1850-2000 pts. and this was always a conundrum to me. What does everything this is better?

Little bit about the lists im writing, Both will have mephiston, a Land Raider, Terminator Assault Squad with a Sang Priest, and 1-3 predators/baals

Razorspam is better (I am biased he he) as you get more fire power and can include a I.C in your Razors. Rhinos you get more troop numbers, but you need 10 dudes for double specials and in some units at least you would need a Priest. This means no double specials and you may as well take 5 dudes, at this point you may as well take a Razorback. If going Razorbacks always take las/plas.

It seems to me the most common and competitive tactic is the las plas razorspam.

Razorbacks are fast and 5 men can take a special weapon. Right there.

The fact the rhinos are expensive, in the sense if you take 10 men you only get one 35pt discount, or if you put sternguard in a rhino it is expensive, yes, people do this, is just an extra reason.

Yeah, I totally agree that Razorbacks are better. Leave the Rhinos to other MEQ armies. I used to think that TL-ACs were viable, but with GKs and Necrons dominating that 12-24" range so well I think Las/Plas is now the clear winner.

Oh, and I would never take a Baal Predator unless I was already using 3 HS slots, or if you really want a Flamestorm cannon. The TL-AC version is great, but mainly because it lets you get more AV13 on the table.
