I recently bought a field mechanik unit for Cygnar, and found myself to be the proud owner of a crew chief with a bent wrench. Is there any method I can use to straighten the wrench without having to break out my tools, remove it, and then reattach it somehow?

Without breaking out your tools? You could try it by hand, most of those pieces are fiddly enough that you can simply move them.

On a more humorous note: Your Cygnar issue wrench was designed by craftsman to get into those hard to reach places on your warjack.

I'm thinking I might just say that he used it to cave an enemy's skull in and leave it at that.

Run it under hot water for a little while, it should be pliable without actually tearing the soft metal. Of course, if it's thin enough you can (gently) move it back. I have to do that with my Blood Witches' knives every now and then if something pushes against them.

The crew chiefs wrench is so thin that it is quite easily bendable without any tools. Just warm the fig a bit and then bend the bit to correct angle.

Thanks for the advice everyone. I was under the impression that warming the mini wouldn't have enough of an effect (what with it being metal rather than plastic), but I'll give it a shot.

You don't need to warm the metal figs before bending, but it helps to avoid bits breaking as the metal is more brittle when it is cold.

That's what I figured. I just though it would be better to be safe than sorry. If I only had a nickel for every wound I've suffered from flying metal bits....

Worse comes to worse, drill out his hand and the wrench head and replace the haft with brass rod. I'm in the process of doing this with my Iron Fangs.
