So I dislike the boltguns and lasgun depictions and wanted to do something different for my models...

For my Space Marines I am using forge world bolters and the vet squad is getting the pulse carbine from Aliens from hassel free minatures.... (Ill post pics when they are finished... i think you will like them).

Anyway I am looking for new weapons for my guard now. Are there anymore sites like hassel free minatures that make 28mm weapons?

Don't forget, in terms of scale, WH40k models are 28mm 'Heroic', which means they're a bit closer to 30mm models. As such regular 28mm model weapons might look a bit tiny in their hands.

First thing I was going to suggest was autoguns! Then I remembered GW don't do the Necromunda weapon packs anymore, which is a shame as they were great for converting Guard (autoguns have the same profile as lasguns).

Not sure beyond those hasslefree miniatures. Everything I came up with was more or less the same or far more limited.

Yeh I looked for the autoguns. They did look really cool but I could not find any.

And I did not know they were more to the 30mm line. Thx Ill keep that in mind.

My first thought was also Autoguns.

Pig Iron Miniatures offers this one. At first glance, it looks plain. But I like the painted gun.

The BEST looking ones, in my opinion, are the Forge World Elysian weapons pack.



The Forge World Tallarn guns aren't wonderful...

The Tallarn ones look as they're meant to; Arabian muzzle-loaders, which suits the Tallarn image perfectly.

I am rather taken by those Chapter House ones I must admit. I almost wish I was doing Cadians at the moment to get some but Krieg. All I need to say

Thx appreciate it I am going to go with chapter house scars for my guard. I have them carapaced too. I am using scout legs with green stuff and the scar lasgun along with Cadian respirators from forgeworld....
