Commander Shepard: Well, I care deeply about the quarian people.
Tali'Zorah: It's good to be back on the Normandy.
Commander Shepard: Let me know if it's too quiet for you to sleep, and I'll find you someplace louder.
Tali'Zorah: Hmm.

Great fun, if a little repetitive. The setup which works best for me is Tactical with Larramans Blessing, Weapon flexibility, Vengance launcher, Storm bolter and frag grenades.

Repetitive to the extreme. Got bored with it after 2 play throughs and haven't touched it since.

Yes i should say VERY repetitive. You will only enjoy it if you like other firefight/horde modes in other games.

That's the odd thing for me. I like Halo firefight and gears horde mode. I guess because the combat is a bit more varied and complex.
Halo - Constantly switching out weapons and grenades, monsters make use of cover, use many different tactics.
Gears - Constantly making use of cover, some weapon switching, monsters use many different tactics.
Warhammer - You will use the same weapon (or weapons if you take the specific perk) the entire game, with the backup pistol rather useless due to ammo being needed for other things. Monsters either shoot at you or rush you.

Indeed, not being able t pick up weapons makes it more one dimensional than ever. I also hate having to fight over amo, it ends up with an assault marine taking all the amo and devastators running around with their pistols, its ridiculous. Just give us a damn ammo cabinet like in halo.

Yea I got burned out on SpaceMarine rather quickly. Sad really, because even with all its faults, I still played TF2 for over a year before getting rid of the game. I havnt touched SM in a good 2 months. Its all incredibly repetitive, specially horde mode. Not to mention that one goes from meh to holy fething hard in a snap. I STILL havnt been able to play against the chaos waves because of lack of a good enough team. I mean seriously? Why? Why make it so damn hard that if you dont an incredible team together youll never experience the 2nd have of the game?

There is supposed to be DLC coming out that will support this mode... in early December; apparently they missed that mark.
Would be nice if you could pick up different weapons during the battle to adjust your tactics... or change classes.

The DLC is out at 800 microsoft points. It looks really good! Got released yesterday
As for weapons, if you want 250 kills per game at the expense of your allies, go with the thunderhammer, killing blow, and impenetrable. You 2-hit standard nobs, one hit everything down from a scar boy, and basically annihilate everything! works especially well with using flash grenades, makes an entire horde sitting ducks!

Basically it let's you swap your player skin, and instead of orks you fight guardsmen and instead of chaos marines you fight regular marines.
All this for 10 bucks? No thanks. I can find quite a few better ways to spend 10 bucks then getting more of the same thing (guardsmen in campaign).

CTF for free though, i played a few games. It works VERY well in space marine, makes the games far more interesting. In this mode im not sitting at the back with a lascannon on 4/5 maps like i always am on annihilation/CaC.

Where does one find these DLCs? Seriously, I had a massive 843 MB download the other day on my PS3 for space marine, but absolutely nothing has changed anywhere, no CTF mode or anything online.
And when I look on the playstation store, there's nothing there.

idk about you guys but I thought "Space Marine" in general was a bad game. I liked it at first but then the campaign got extremely repetitive. I felt like it was the same level over and over until the chaos finally showed up. Even then it got repetitive. The funny thing was the Space marine captain just ran through about 100,000 orks and 10,000 chaos space marines. Its just kind of silly when you think about it. If you ask me they should've invested in a first person shooter which had the same aspects of star wars battlefront. Chaos versus Space Mahreens, tau versus guard. Stuff like that.

What are peoples opinions of the DLC? I don't know anyone who has bought it. 3 new maps would be cool, but the price is a bit steep.

Harry, I'm going to let you in on a little secret. Every day, once a day, give yourself a present. Don't plan it. Don't wait for it. Just let it happen. It could be a new shirt at the men's store, a catnap in your office chair, or two cups of good, hot black coffee. |

I like the new DLC, but I've honestly only played it 5-6 times, then went back to Battlefield 3.
Killing Orks and Space Marines at the same time makes it a completely different challenge...but it seems harder than the original Exterminatus. I don't think I've made it past Level 15 :/

How far did you get in the original levels? I got to the final wave in one of the stages and to the bonus stage on the other. Could not defeat those Chaos Space Marines, although we did whittle them down to the last two.

I was with a really good team once and we got to the chaos round. One by one we were dragged down but the last man standing put up a heroic fight for at least 20 mins after the rest of us died, he would have gone on for longer but he ran out of all ammo and a huge wave of bloodthirsters dragged him down. I say Bravo to his performance.

The farthest I've ever been is Level 19...I've never been able to fight the Chaos Marines Edit: And I've been to 19 about a million times. Between the Mega Nobs and trying to capture the points, my team never seemed to do it
