Ok I am little to get a little bit of a discussion going on here about something I read in the codex and if maybe it is something cooler then we thought.

The Wording in questions states "When Wazdakka uses a Turbo Boost he may still fire his Weapons(Plural sense) that turn.

Could this mean that Wazdakka could fire more then just his Dakkakannon...Because why else would they give him a KMB? I read this and found myself thinking that maybe, just maybe we could have a strong character for our Ork Biker Lists.

He doesn't have permission in his rules to fire more than the normal number of weapons, so is restricted to firing one weapon per turn as normal.

He can choose which of his various weapons to fire, though, which is presumably why the rule you quoted uses a plural.

So you think it would def be stated that he could be able to fire more then just one weapon?

It would have to be, since otherwise models are explicitly restricted to a single weapon each turn.

Makes sense, Just thought the wording made it sound that as a IC he had a cool rule to make him somewhat even more useful when turbo boosting.

It is worded that way as to not limit which weapon he can fire after turboboosting.

the reason he has that kustom mega blasta is only because he is a mek....if you look...he also has meks tools

Hey... to those who played in 4ed (Ork Codex is 4th Ed), was Wazzie more effective?

I did see that, but thought maybe the KMB served some greater purpose!

He is effective, not as a particularly amazing beatstick and deathstar, but because he makes bikers troops. Having to face 100+ bikes at 'ard boyz will ruin almost anybody's day.

that is a really good idea, only issue would be the purchasing of all those bikes!

It does cost a wodge. It took me ages, and a lot of money, to get all mine together.

My regular bikers are the old ones with the spiky hats and wide cannon half-track-bikes.

My Nob bikers are the new models. It helps me keep track of who is who

It is my dream ork list- 72 troop bikes, 36 elite, wazdakka, a battle wagon, and a handful of nob bikers. Mmm, so much shooty green on the field...

Sadly you'd be facing destroyer weapons which simply nuke bikers to bits.

On the upside, that army is still cheaper than starting sisters of battle

That isn't apocalypse, its standard 2500.

You could get 72 troop bikers, 30 elite Nob bikers, 36 fast attack bikers, wazdakka and a bikerboss on the field at once, but the points would be a bit high (3000 ish? )

140 bikers is a hell of a bikergang

Unfortunately i don't have enough bikers (yet) to do that.

I have 36 FA bikes, and 30 Nob bikes, plus wazzdakka, bikerboss and about a dozen spare bikers.

All 72 troop bikes (60 more ) would make a crater in my wallet it'd not appreciate, but some day...

So do you have pictures of your bikers? I would like to see the different Nobz and FA bikers ya have!

I'll try to get some pics sorted out when i can. Camera needs emptying and recharging. Perhaps tomorrow or the next day.

Most of them are primed or unpainted though, as i'm a slow as hell painter with a lot of orks to work on... Some are partial conversions also, as i've not had time to find all the right gubbins yet

I think my spare 12 are in simple green right now, so i'll leave them be

A biker is 25, so 108 bikers are already 2700, not including nobz, PKs, boss poles.
Add wazdakka, a battlewagon and a useful unit of nob bikerz(let's say five with upgrades and a warboss as babysitter), and with close to 4000 points, you are well into apoc territory.

Hunting up another 60 old-school bikes isn't high on my priorities list (need a few other odds and sods first) but it's in the cards, someday
