Played against someone who used a Highborn who was shooting 5 armor ignoring longbow shots per turn. Seemed a bit off, so I looked at the army book today, and saw the items he took, but it seems he could only get 4 shots (Bow of Loren, number of shots= 4 attacks on highborn profile). How do you get that 5th shot?

Was his highborn of a certain 'aspect'. I'm pretty sure there's one that gives extra attacks. However even 5 armour ignoring shots a turn isn't great. With str 3 arrows it's pretty :/

Yeah its called the Alter kindred.
It adds 1 attack to the profile and increases the I and M to 9. Downside is that he cant be the general or join units.

Kredic is correct. The "Alter Kindred" does increase attack by 1.

There is also a bow that allows a highborn to shoot as many times as they attacks in their profile (The Bow of Loren).

To get the ignores armor rule, he must have been using the "Arcane Bodkins which are magic arrows.

Yep, the above is a fine combination - Starfire arrows used to be good as well, before the BSB let you reroll everything...

Indeed, though I've still had a couple of starfire arrows make 60 clanrats run away
