Recenlty my kid came to me wanting to get into Warmachine and Hordes and wanted me to play as well. So ive figured out what armies we are both going to play but could really use some adivce as this is a totally new game for me compared to 40K.

I am playing Menoth, I am splitting a Khador and Menoth battle box with a friend, of course im taking the Menoth side. So any advice would be helpful what I should buy and where I should start.

My kid is playing Circle of Orobos and of course any advice and help will be helpful on where to start.

It's funny, for all the anti-Cryx sentiment to be found everywhere, you see a great deal of Circle, Skorne, and Menoth on these tournament winners and not so much on the Cryx side of things.

I actually want to play Cryx.

For me, it's not actual anti-Cryx sentiment, it's 'Haha, inside joke, Cryx is always overpowered LAWL'.

I would suggest for any Orboros player to have a set of Druids in the ranks.

Choir of menoth is a must have for your warjacks
and bulk up your combat prowess with some cinerators or bastions
