3x Melta guns, Chimera with hull heavy flamer

This tells us all the info we need and the total points are given. Frankly I am kinda surprised since you apparently have been here alittle bit that you would risk Dakka Dakka like that.

He's right, you aren't suppossed to put the points costs for each individual upgrade, just the unit as a whole.

But anyway, BikTom's much better than me when it comes to Imperial Guard advice but I'll give it a go.

Not quite sure why you have given the Veteran Squads things like Grenadiers and Demolitions, yeah they give you some nice little upgrades but if you think about how often these are going to get used considering that they are inside a Chimera then they don't really seem worth it IMO.

Also, the only way to use a Punisher that makes it effective is to slap Pask inside it, therefore, I would drop the second one, is there are much more efficient choices for those points.

The Lascannon on the LRBT needs to go, you are only going to be hitting half the time anyway.

I'd also drop the Stormtroopers, they aren't going to be doing much other than adding to the Chimera wall.

This leaves you with 635 extra points (I think) to play with, and I would definately recommend using these on some Vendettas.

Sry about the post i copied over from my spread sheet being lazy. This list is just a modified one of the list i run now just to try some new things. The vets I run like this all the time and they do very well, the 4+ armor save is great. I dont own any vendettas yet.

Too much extra wargear in every single unit. Just take the max specials in each unit and call it a day. No need for extras like carapace armour, plasma pistols, grenadiers & demos. All that just soaks up points and reduces your saturation.
