Hey,

Recently I have been getting into the game Force on Force. I am deciding to spend some money on Miniatures.

However I am not sure if there is anyone (at least in the states) that has 25mm armor and troops.

If some one could give me some advice it would be appreciated

As for specifics on the Era - Late 20th century modern.

by the way sorry if i posted in the wrong section did not know where else to post :|

Well, we're waiting to hear back from him in that N&R post- he had done those via the Kickstarter website, and sent all of those out already. However, I don't think they've made it up onto his regular site yet ( http://www.dreamforge-games.com/ , there's also a link to his blog on there which he updates more frequently).

I'm personally waiting for a smaller version of his leviathans which he expects to release soon, his stuff's amazing!

Copplestone is a great place to look. He's more near future and historical but his stuff is great.

I am also looking for some Modern US Marines / Army General Infantry in 25mm

As well as vehicles that can go with them.

So HMMWV and Possibly an Abram or two. I would prefer a US Vendor as I live in the states and I am ordering these for Christmas.

If I cannot get them in the states that is fine just means I will have to wait a bit longer

EDIT: Also can some one recommend a good Science fiction mini line?

Also In 25mm

Thanks for everyone who has posted so far

Are you looking specifically for 25mm true scale figures?

Most modern/SF figures tend to be 28mm to 32mm. There's loads of good ranges around that size that work well with each other, but they'll be noticeably bigger than true 25mm.

Do you wan't the best modern miniatures in the market? If you do, then go here: http://www.empressminiatures.com/page8.htm

They are 28 - 30 mm though, not 25mm.

25mm is an odd choice for scale since most manufacturers either do 20mm or 28 mm (so called heroic scale). So why did you choose that scale?

Ah!

In that case check out The Assault Group

http://www.theassaultgroup.com/

28mm moderns is their specialty.

Copplestone actually is 25mm so may look small next to 28s.

Some of the best US troops are going to be Eureka Mins SEALs and Marine Recon as well as Empress Minis US folks. The sculpts are just fantastic.

Both also make other country's forces and insurgents.

I'd second Eureka, Empress and The Assault Group. The styles are slightly different, but not so different that they couldn't be used on the same table. Also, their figs are going to be very accurate representations of actual military forces.

I wouldn't bother with Copplestone. They are a nice chunky 28mm, but their figures are more near future or post apoc than true modern figures.

If you go here, you'll find lots of discussion and review of modern miniatures.

The Assault Group sells a wide range of modern military models, from Somalli pirates and Iraqi Militia forces to British Paras and Russian Special Forces. They also have a large stock of weapons too from the past centuary and beyond-including most of the modern arsenals of the world's superpowers. Their vehicle section isn't all that large but it may be an idea to look at that aswell if your interested.
