Troublemaker Games Presents:
Troublemaker Games is a new Miniatures company, specialising in the design of quirky and original Miniature War Games. Our high quality miniatures, designed by acclaimed sculptors Ben and Barny Skinner, are designed on computer, allowing for the highest possible level of detail.
We don't just make models though; we make games. Our first game is Timeline 300, a 10mm scale Steampunk wargame, set in an alternate version of the year 1870. Great Britain and Germany, supported by steam-powered technology and the magic of Thaumatic energy, fight for dominance of the only resource that matters, coal, all under the hungry gaze of the approaching Martians...
Unlike many wargames, Timeline 300 is not played by buying two equally pointed armies, lining them up and fighting. Instead, the game is more about the capture of resources which allow the purchase of new forces during the game. Battles can start small and develop into vast conflicts, as the fight for control of the flow of coal intensifies.

Had a quick shufty at your site and it all looks rather good, quite tempted to get a few of these miniatures already.
I was a bit surprised by the scale initially, I am assuming these are designed to work with N scale train things though?
And may I also ask why the Union Flag is green and the Bundesflagge und Handelsflagge has a big hammer and sickle across it? And whether there will be any other nations represented?

"How do you feel when you have killed a man?"
"Quite jolly, what about you?"
Sir Richard Burton, when asked by a disapproving doctor.

I suppose the surprise can be spoiled, but still, nobody is paying for the surprise.
Like any responsible adult I have a Five Year Plan. It culminates in me becoming Batman.

And how does that NOT embody one of the most feared orkz of all time? |

The green Union Flag is a reference to the fact that the British Navy is land rather than water based, i.e full of land ships.
(Obviously that's not the real reason for the blue on the flag, but it's fitting in our universe for it to be green. The tongue is firmly in the cheek in this game).
The German flag has a Hammer and Sickle as in our world Germany is a communist nation under its visonary first comrade Karl Marx. Again it's a fitting way to represent the flag of this anachronistic nation.
There will indeed be other nations, such as the Technocracy of Japan, the magical cultists of France, and the Kingdom of America, led by King Abraham (Lincoln) the 1st...

Certainly. N Guage railway scenery kits are cheap, plentiful, and often era-appropriate.

Your Timeline 300 logo is pretty darn hard to read, even when you already know what it says. That said, some of the minis look pretty cool.

That martian tripod figure is sweet!
Does anybody know: would the scale be comparable to that of Dystopian Wars?

Hopefully these two pictures will help you work out the size of the models... pretty big for the price!
Of those customers that aren't buying into our game system, I've heard people saying that they'd like to use our models with Dystopian Wars, and others saying that they'd like to use our Tripods in 40k.
Our game system is awesome too, though. :-p

Someone who bought from us at SALUTE mentioned he'd be using his German Land Frigates as Epic Ork Gunwagons.
I think our Tripods would probably make for good Warhound Titans too, at 1/3rd the cost!
