i recently deepstriked a Ravager into play, it was then assaulted by jump marines, am i right in saying because it deployed via deepstrike i could not move it that turn? does that mean that it counts as moving flat out and therefore requires a 6+ to hit? we played 4+ to hit because we were unsure.
Also in the dark eldar codex it says "for every 10 warriors you may take one (of 2 heavy weapons)" does this mean you need 10 to take one, thats what im playing at the minute but during a white dwarf bat rep Phil Kelly takes 9 warriors with a heavy weapon implying that its upto 10, which is confusing
thank you for your time dakka.

Five is less the ten so no. You need at least ten models to take a heavy weapon, twenty to take two....

The deep strike rules in the rulebook clearly answer both of these questions. A deep striking vehicle counts as moving at Cruising Speed. A unit which deep strikes counts as moving and can't move any further that turn.

1 per 10. Ten warriors to qualify for the first, 20 to take a second.

Deepstriking vehicles count as if they moved at Cruising Speed(pg95 of the BGB.), which means you need a 6+ to hit it.

You need 10-19 Warriors to take one heavy weapons and 20 to take two.

The sad fact is you can't trust the game designers to know their own rules. And asking in GW stores is generally even worse... My mates had a Turboboosting Jetbikes question this summer and not one but two GW stores gave answers in direct conflict with the rules.
Otherwise your original questions have already been answered correctly. ;-)

To clarify, because I think you're a bit confused on the 10 warriors 1 weapon deal, the tenth warrior will have the heavy weapon. So, 10 models, 9 rifles, 1 heavy.

I think what you were confused about with Kelly is that it was 9 normal ones + a model with a HW? That would be 10 models.
