Hey everyone, it has been a bit since I posted some conversions, so I figured I would go ahead and post a WIP of my newest Tervigon. I have started a Alienids themed army that is inspired by Necros' Alienids:

I got a long ways to go to catch up to his awesome army, but so far I have made 32 Termaguants (pics of them soon) and her majesty below.

Let me know what you think of her. I think there is still a few places where she needs some more green stuff work but over all I think she is almost ready for some paint. Here is the gallery link:

I made a greenstuff egg and then copied it with resin and that instant mold stuff. Thanks for the comments too!

Maybe I made mine too big?

She took a few hours a day for the last two weeks btw. She took a lot out of me. I think I watched Aliens 19 times in that same time span as well.

As for the reproductive organ, well it is more of a homage to the man H. R. Giger. He put vaginas everywhere, so I figured she needed one, plus there was this scene in aliens where she broke free from the egg laying thing. You couldn't see what the egg layer was attached to down there in that scene, but you would figure that it had to have a hole of sorts. I am working on a diaroma where she attaches to the egg layer.

So I guess I was sort of going for the face hugger vaginia look:

I really didn't need to see a shot of alien Vag but none the less impressive sculpting work sir. Really nice to see a tervigon other than a fat bloated carnifex.

Ok I used a spoiler for the vay-jay-jay! I guess I am just as bad as giger when it comes to alien stuff. Look at what I added to my tyrannofex:

Anyways thanks for the comments you all. I started painting this thing last night. Hopefully I will have you all some pics of her soon. I also got 32 termagants converted into alien warriors as well. Look for pics of them soon!

I agree and I must say I am guilty for that. I made 5 fatties last year. I had to sell all my nids to pay some bills, but the wife has let me start a new nid army. I think this will make my fourth one...

Thanks everyone for the comments! I just about have a paint job on her. I am doing black with highlights of blue. I tried highlights of grey and bolt gun (like the movie aliens) but it looked too dark. I should have some pictures soon.

Wow wow amazing stuff. I'm surprised to see there is still a nid under all that green stuff. Though I suppose you needed something to sculpt onto.

Now you have that you could make the walker mech Ridley uses to defeat the mother. That would be just the icing on the cake.

no doubt that is awesome, but it soes not resemble a tervigon, just more like a hive tyrant. the tyranofex was good much better then my carnifex conversion!

It's no supposed to resemble a Tervigon, it's suppose to resemble a queen from "Aliens".

Also I managed to get her painted and made a small diorama featured the egg laying thing. I will take some pictures later today and post them.
