Btw, may I just say now thanks for your help.

Now, I'm going to start Dark Eldar, and seeing as for these summer holidays (australia) my FLGS is running a 1250pt holiday long competition, I though now would be the best time. The rules for this competition is one single list, 1250pts. Thats it.

Now, the list im going for is a vehicle spam list. Now, I have a bit of a budget (roughly $200 Australian) and seeing as that nets you barely any models at GW stores, I looked to Ebay.

I got a little confused with all the sets and boxes, let me just tell you where to start. You want 4+ venoms, 2 boxes of kabalites (use this to make trueborn as well) a box if wyches. A haemonculus, and 2+ ravagers

I have a Raider with 2 planks on either side for 2 darklance kabalites. no complaints

Never worked for me. nor a wwp list at this point level.
this list is basicly the darklight storm with a counter assault element.

and before you cringe at the cost of that unit, let me tell you i made mine from left over bits from the vehicles, the reaver jet bikes i got from a battle force, and a box of wargs from the lotr game.

The way it works is the empty wyches squads are cover for the trueborn and warriors. The raiders go on the sides and hopefully reach the end in time. They drop their load and die, and then the wyches (one with the haemy) take out an enemy unit or two.

**Built-in**

Cover won't do. You want venoms and raiders for your troops to hide in. You'll understand what toughness 3 is all about once you play a few games. Also, the trasports provide the ability to alpha strike, something walking trueborn cannot do.
