Road-Raging Blood Angel Biker

Hey so I have a bunch of uselessbike models and was thinking, can we make a viable BA bike army? My thinking was throw some bikes on libby's and priests and have them follow bikes around. There is something appealing about T5 FNP squads. With libby's cover and turbo boost they should always have some sort of save. Not sure if I can make the points work, or what the optimal bike squad composition would be, but here's a try:
HQ
LIbby w/ bike, shield, lance 135
Libby shield, lance 100
Elites
Naked priest- 50
Bike Priest- 85
Troops
Razor Assault, 1 flamer, las/plas- 160
Razor Assault, 1 flamer las/plas- 160
Razor Assault ,1 flamer las/plas-160
Razor Assault, 1 melta las/plas- 165
Fast Attack
Attack bike squad, MM's- 150
Attack Bike squad, MM's- 150
5 man bike Squad, 2 meltas, PF- 185
Total would bring me to 1500, if I accounted for everything accurately. After writing this I realize its really just a Razor spam variant. Its too bad our captains don't confer that 'bikes as troops' rule. Maybe that will be the next DA codex, bikes with FNP. Anyways now i'm just rambling now.
Maybe a more bike oriented list could work at 1K-
HQ
Libby w/ bike, Shiedl Blood lance135
Elite
Priest Bike 85
Troops
Razor Assault las/plas x2 320
Fast Attack
Attack Bike Squad MMs- 150
Attack Bike Squad MMs- 150
5 man bike squad, 2 meltas, 160
1000 pts

I think your Priests both should be inside the Razorbacks for armour protection and increased fnp foot print.

There is already a template for Blood rodeo.
Essentially it uses jump packs instead of razorbacks. Which makes a lot of sense, in terms of how well jump packs and bikes can go together.
Good luck, it looks like fun.

@mercer- Yea ur right but I was trying to give the bikes more staying power, kind of emphasize them a bit more.
@Mfletch- Blood rodeo. Eff yea! I do have a more fleshed out DOA wing. But it sounds like blood rodeo wouldn't use the DS DOA.
So would the template look like this?
HQ-
LIbby JP 125
Elite-
Priests w/ jps x2 150
Priest w/ bike 85
Troops-
2 Assault Squads, PF, 2 melta 470
Assault Squads, PW, Flamer 215
Fast Attack-
Attack bikes, MM's x2 300
5 man bike squad, 2 meltas 160
Total is 1505, would have to somehow shave 5 pts....
Automatically Appended Next Post: Only thing I can think of is to maybe sprinkle a few more flamers on there instead, because I have a lot of melta already.

Besides being cool, I'm not sure what the (regular) Bikes are bringing to the table. 5 Models and 2 Meltas cost about as much as 3 more Attack Bikes, which would have 1 more wound. The Attack Bikes are a bit more vulnerable to high S weapons, but you already have 6, so you'd be adding to your target saturation.
Both the Attack Bikes and regular Bikes would get mulched in CC by anything stronger than a Tactical Squad, so I don't see that as an advantage either.
That said, this is a fun little twist on the standard DoA list, and I like the idea of having a Priest on a Bike in it. I wouldn't fancy my chances with my mech BA list against it.

I haven't really seen much bikes in BA lists, but this does seem pretty tight. Having no mech at all can be a bit of a metabreaker and the whole list remains pretty mobile.

I haven't played anything like this, there are websites that do cover.
I would have a complete 10man/9bike squad if you had more points. So you can combat squad. I think the main role of the bikes is to have T4(5), 3+ cover save and 4 FNP, then large squads or even two targets. They can take some punishment before the assault squads decide to catch up. This makes me wonder whether dev. squads could fit the list.
How about giving the librarian a bike as it is faster.
Please do battle reports. Maybe I will proxy ravenwing in and try this sort of list out
