5 Warbikers, 125 pts
1 Biker Nob, 65 pts = (Bosspole + Power Klaw)
NOTE:
Death Skulls List - Wanted to go for a very shooty ork list using what i have. So i have a significantly large army able to put out lots of different types of shoots. 2 two boyz units in trukks are there to hold objectives while the burnas and tankbustas take their trucks to bring their assault weapons to bear on enemy vehicles while the lootas with SAG mekboy aim at transports and heavy infantry. Koptas scout and take out vehicles if im going first if not they go on reserve to flank. This list is more offensive in a firefight while also able to play defensively adn whittle down enemies that would prefer to rush at me.
Evil Sunz List - SPEED! SPEED! aaaaaaaaand SPEED! Thats what I obviously aimed for, this is not aiming for defense whatsoever it's a hit and hard and quickly list. Nobz in their trukks with the Warboss and KFF mek going full speed ahead for a turn 2 possibly turn 1 assault. Where as the koptas use their scout move if i am going first to guarantee a turn 1 assault or to outflank if im going second, the bikers speeding to the front to nail AV that are a threat. The ard boyz either charging and along or holding a forward objective.

The Evil Sunz list does not have nearly enough Boyz to soak up fire. The amount of S8 shooting you will see at 1750 is going to turn your 3 AV10 Trukks into Swiss Cheese and nullify your 2 wound Nobz while they plod across the board afterwards. Also, the lack of leadership, Bosspoles, and 4+ Exhaust Cloud on your Deffkoptas means they break and run a lot. I never take more than 2 in a Mob. I usually works as well as 2, but 2 Rokkit Koptas with 1 Buzzsaw seems to last a little longer.
The Death Skulls is a Green Tide. I don't like having Tankbustas not in a vehicle. They won't be mobile enough to hunt down evasive enemy vehicles on foot, nor will they be able to avoid, or even shoot at, non-vehicle threats to them. 1 Mega Blasta Mekboy is going to die for every 2 hits they make, not wounds, but hits. I would put the Tankbusta and Burna points into more Lootas. They are never a bad investment.

I don't write the rules. My ego just lives and dies by them one model at a time. |

Evil Sunz is about speed not numbers, so the goal wasn't to have a large mob of footsloggin boyz rather to put out there everythign i have with speed. That's the concept anyway
The deathskull list has the tankbustas riding the trukks did ya read the notes at hte bottom of the post?
And yeah the megablasta boy is a tough one thats why i put 3 in there so they'll land more hits. I don't own more lootas I wish, otherwise i would def do as you said and replace the burnas and tankbustas with lootas.

I am going the deathskulls to perform the best.
Both will not work too well. Neither works well together and both misplay units.

Honestly I would say neither is very good or effective. 5 burnas will not last long enough to do anything. Tank bustas are not that great IMHO. They should have a transport. I am not a fan of SAG's on meks. Really not very good especially with no support. They need to be in a squad of artilllery or grots to hid themselves. You only have 2 trukks in the army. They will not last to get anywhere. I would target them first and shot you from a far. Bosspoles are pretty useless for Meks. You only really need the KFF on a Mek.
next list has alot of issues as well. You only have 3 trukks. they will be shot pretty fast. Nobs are great but you really need boy supprt for them. Nobs suck against GK's not sure how many GK players you have around. 16 boys on foot is not right for evil suns. They all should be mounted.
All in all these list don't offer much. I might try to rethink your lists. you really need mass different units for orks. If you take the first list drop the trukks. Make another squad on foot. Do you have any dreads or Kans? If so i would try to add them to the Deffskull list. With the sevond list turn two of those nobs squads into boys squads with trukks or BW's. again if you have them. the koptas you don't need a buzzsaw with them as they are not ment to suicide but more long range fire support. Keeps those points for something else. In fact turn those bikers into nobs and turn all of your other nobs into boys. The nobs can help with a tough unit that can stay away and shoot with all thoe dakkaguns. Then they can also be troops so can turbo late game to take or contest objective.
So lilst one would look something liek this.
Mek: KFF
Mek: SAG/KFF
Lootas x15(Could split into 3x5 or maybe if you can get 5 more 2x10)
Boys: 60-80 (squads of 20 are fine)
Dread (Up to two here)
Sucide koptas 3x1 units
Kans: rokkits(who ever many you have)
List two
Boss: bike
Mek: KFF
Lootas (same as above)
Boys 60-80 (in trukks, BW;s)
Nob Bikers x6-7
Koptas x5 Rokkits
koptas suicide 1x2
Bw's (Tranports for boys)
I think these would be alittle bit better for you. These are just outlines for your list. You can change as you see fit. Not sure what and how much you can fit but hope this helps.

Thanks unfortunately im not looking to make many changes here given i'm not buying new models and using what I own to fit things in, so in this particular thread i'm more interested in which one people feel would work out better

Well in that case I would go with list 1. It has more staying power. You do however need Nobs in the trukk sqauds. So drop those burnas and add Nobs to the squads with PK, BP's. Split lootas into 8 man and 7 man to spread fire power around. You could convert one last Loota so you cna do 8 and 8.
PS didn't see you were the same person.

i own 16 lootas i just heard that they are more effective in squads of 12+ so i tried to keep to that instead of splitting them, those are valid suggestions and i'll play test those thanks

Well I personally like 15 man squds. As you don' thave that i am trying to do what we can with what you have. with all the boys on foot they will be able to block clear shots going to the lootas. 8 man squads will not be that bad. The reall reason i split them up is you really need to spread some fire power around. You don't have much in tha way of AT weapons. So two targets are better then one.
