This Time the Battle was Hive Fleet Shio Vs. The Black Crosses! (Space Marines)
A 500 Point Battle

Tyranids:
27 Termagants
5 Ripper Swarms
3 Warriors, Equipped with Venom Cannon, Barbed Strangler and Death Spitter
Hive Tyrant with Heavy Venom Cannon!

SM:
2 Tactical Squads
Land Raider
Predator
(maybe something else, but this is all i cared to keep track of since I was sick and incoherent at that moment)

Basically the battle started and i killed everyone xD he got six gaunts at the end tho... but yeah it was fun! :3

okay here goes nothing my first legit battle report xD well here it is...

I just want to let everyone know right now this is going to be an inaccurate battle report. so please bear with me xD i really don't know anything about SM so if i get the tanks messed up it's my bad.

Turn 1:
Tyranids:I move all my people up 6 inches, i had termie teams of 8,12 and 7. i moved the groups of 8 and seven up the right side along with 2 ripper swarms. I moved the tyrant, warriors, 2 rippers and the remaining termies up the left.

Space Marines: He moved the 1 tactical squad to the right. He then moved his predator and the remaining tactical squad to the center, so he could he a clear shot at me. He then fired at my hive tyrant and missed!

Turn 2:
Tyranids: I proceded to move my rippers and terms up the right side. I kept the left side behind cover. the rippers i used as shields, for hose who didn't pass their leadership test. I moved my warriors and tyrant up the center and fired at his tactical squad. I got 2 guys with my hive tyrant and my warriors missed completely...

Space Marines: He moved 1 tactical squad into the land raider,then moved it up the left side. He then fired at my tyrant, and got nothing! I think he may of deployed at this time but I'm not sure...

Turn 3:
Tyranids: (if he deployed i'm just gonna say he did) I moved my tyrant and warriors closer to his space marines, I fired all their weapons at them and only got 2 dead. I also moved my terms and Rippers closer to his tactical squad. I was in range now so i fired, I didn't hit one... I then Assulted with my Tyrant and warriors to his Tactical Squad.

Space Marines: He moved his Predator closer into the middle and then ended his turn.

Assault Phase: My tyrant and Warriors took out all of this Tactical Squad.

Turn 4:
Tyranids: I moved terms and rippers further up toward remaining tactical squad. Then I assaulted His Land Raider.

Space Marines: He moved up his Predator even further, He then fired at my one Termie Brood, killed 7 right off the bat!

Assault Phase: My tyrant Blew up his Land Raider }~{

Turn 5:
Tyranids: Moved Tyrant and warriors closer to Predator, moved left sided terms and rippers closer to tactical squad. I fired with my warriors and Tyrant at his Predator and it was unable to move or shoot the next turn. I then fired with my termies at his tactical squad and killed all of them.

Space Marines: Couldn't do anything....

Turn 6:
Tyranids: Moved, then Assaulted Predator with Warriors and Tyrant.

Space Marines: Couldn't Do anything....again...

Assault Phase: My tyrant blew up his predator That meant Victory for Hive Fleet Shio! AND THERE WAS MUCH REJOICING!

You could at least try?

Take it slow....

What happend on turn one. Recount all your movement and strategy thought. What shot at what? why? What assaulted what? Why?
What did your opponent do on turn one? etc

Then rinse and repeat through 5-7 turns...

Otherwise I'm not sure what a post saying hey guise my 500 points of gribbles beat his 500 points of gubbinz really accomplishes...

Illegal unit - you can only have one heavy weapon.

edit: also, a predator + land raider is 310 points, 2 units of tac marines is 180 points... even the cheapest HQ is 100, so his list was over 500.

Well it doesn't really matter cause i only used my venom cannon xD i totally forgot about the barbed strangler
