Hi.

I've been looking at starting a LoTR army for a while now, and was wondering which book the core rules are laid out in, or if its mixed between lots of books?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

The big one:

I believe the Moria starter set has a miniature version which you can probably pick up on Ebay.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
Army lists and stats and points values etc are scattered among the sourcebooks, however

Did you know? The Reach belongs to the Forsworn.

Thanks for that!

I figured individual points would be in the sourcebooks, like codices, but I wasn't sure if there was a full rulebook.

Cheers again!

The Big book has all the rules, stats and point values for everything that's in the films and a few things that aren't, like barrow wights and Tom Bombadil. I guess all thats in the small moria book too. So you can play with just that.

Legions of middle earth has all the army lists. And the sourcebooks all the rules for there various factions and new units.

The sourcebooks are becoming nearly impossible to find outside of e-bay with GW discontinuing most of them. Hopefully this is just to re-launch the game next year pre-Hobbit.
